My Circle Golf Autumn Series – the lowdown

Our Autumn Series is now in full swing (excuse the pun) as we navigate the fairways (well, most of the time) of some great courses in and around London.

So how does it work?

We’re staging events each weekend between now and the end of November, you can check our events page for the full schedule and to keep up to date with where we’ll be next.

The format for each event will be a stableford competition, with a prize going to the player with the highest points tally on the day. For each event you participate in we’ll carry your points forward towards the overall autumn series. You’ll need to take part in at least 3 events to qualify but if you make it to more than 3 the cumulative score of your best scores will be taken as your tally towards the series.

Are you changing up the venues?

Yes! We want to give all community members a chance to attend so we’ll be rotating events from the north, south, east and west as and where possible.

If we’re not coming close to your location in terms of the venues selected then let us know! We want to give as much equal opportunity as we possibly can but you need to tell us if you feel you’re missing out.

How do I enter?

That’s the best part. Just leave it to us. Once you take part in 3 events we’ll automatically carry your score forward. Then if you do play in a few more events we’ll update your score accordingly.

To enter each individual event you will receive a notification a week or so before the scheduled event inviting you along. Simply open up the app and accept if you can make it, decline if you can’t. Pretty simple.

How much is the entry fee?

There’s no entry fee as such for the autumn series competition. You will only need to pay for the cost of each event. This will vary depending on the venue, and we’ll make sure you get the advantage of preferential rates for My Circle Golf community members.

What’s the prize?

We’ll be giving away a brand new Scotty Cameron GoLo5 putter – similar to the one used by Rory McIlroy. To be clear, this will go to the player with the highest cumulative score from their best 3 rounds in the autumn series.

So that’s it! We’ll be staging another event this Saturday (8 October) at Surrey National Golf Club. There’ll be a break the following weekend for the British Masters, then it’s onto Richmond Park on 22 October.
